Meet Morgann Joan

Hi! Thank you so much for visiting! I'm Morgann and I have been painting since I was a child, but it wasn't until college that I realized that it is possible to be an artist. During college my art professor kept telling me to let go of the brush and to have fun with painting. I realized that I had this idea that art should look a certain way and that every line should be perfect and straight, or that there could never be accidental marks left uncovered. I realized that she was right and I should just let go. Since then I have been working on letting the art flow and not having to worry about the little details or mistakes. Now I showcase those marks and really dive into painting in a way I never have been able to. I love being an artist and it brings me so much joy to be able to share my work with others. 

Over the past two years or so, I have grown a community on Instagram and I have been able to share my paintings with people all over the country. It has been an incredible journey and I can't wait to see where it goes from here!
